Biography: Recipient, New Mexico Bar Professionalism Award, 2001. Chair, Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission, 1997. A native of New Mexico, Briones earned his undergraduate and law degrees at UNM. His legal practice provides service to clients seeking general legal advice, as well as business law and litigation services. The State Bar association selected Briones as the first recipient of the Professionalism Award. He was also the recipient of UNM School of Law Distinguished Achievement Award. Briones has been a life member of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation and a Fellow of the New Mexico Bar Foundation.
